About the Royal Zoological Society of New South WalesThe Royal Zoological Society of New South Wales (RZS of NSW) is concerned with the study and conservation of Australia's native fauna, and the education of its members and the general public on these subjects. Its objectives are to promote and advance the science of Zoology, and to protect, preserve and conserve the indigenous animals of Australia and their associated habitats. There is one specialised section of the Society currently active: the Wildlife Section. This branch of the Society conducts their own regular meetings, field trips and other activities. Anyone with an interest in zoology and the conservation of Australia's native fauna can join the Society. For more information on membership, click here. |
